In an age-old building within the walls, on the third floor
with no elevator, you will find a completely renovated
flat, with modern furnishing.
Each part of this small flat has been arranged with
care, and altogether, it provides a functional and restful
comfort. The flat is in perfect condition, with metal
window frames and double-glazed windows.
The living room is the largest space and is next to a wellequipped kitchen space (refrigerator-freezer, stove with
electric burners, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing
machine). There is a complete set of small appliances
(food processor, nespresso coffee maker, toaster, electric
kettle , iron and ironing board. All of these are excellent
brands, in perfect condition, mostly new.
The table (1,5 m X ,91m) is large enough to seat several
people comfortably. A large sofa bed adds extra sleeping
space. There is also a television, radio and DVD player,
internet connexion, as well as some books, films, and
The walls are decorated with reproductions of paintings
by artists who have lived in the area.
The bathroom and shower have been designed to be
pleasant and relaxing (you will find a hair dryer too) The

The flat is situated in the heart of the old town in a small
quiet street 120 metres from the Cathedral, 70 metres
from the Grand'Porte Gate that leads from the ramparts
to the harbour. Close by you can find many differt kinds
of restaurants, (including, of course, those that specialize
in crÃªpes), and Orme Street, famous for its shops. Less
than three hundred metres from there are the beaches and
the places where the many cultural and maritime events
of St. Malo are held. The Thermes Marins Spa is on the
embankment just 2 kilometres away.

books that will introduce you to the various facets of the
St. Malo area.

Parking is quite difficult during the high season in the
within-the-walls area, and the various tourist attractions,
restaurants, beaches, and shopping areas are all within
easy walking distance of the flat, so you might want to
come by train. In that case I can meet you at the station
and bring you to the flat.
